MNR

Thank you. His 404 Listing looks Stunning ..

I don't a lot about great Domestic Builders (Still Around, Taking on Clients), but his work looks phenomenal. He's always willing to accommodate different ideas: Nitre Bluing .. contrast on Magnificent Walnut, ie. Circumstances dictate, but I'd like to move forward with MNR.

You'll be making a great choice with MNR. Matt is a great guy and makes a really nice rifle.

It would be a big decision/commitment: Just surprised I don't here much about MNR in comparison to a lot of the others in the Big Leagues ..
Thank you.

I think in a few years he will be brought up in those conversations. He is young comparitivly for the top end gunsmithing game. I have handled his rifles and they are top notch.

For those that have worked with Matt, can you tell me what his timeframe for completion is? I just wanted a pair of the custom scope ring bases, the ones from the video in the prior post on this thread, nothing too crazy. I sent him my Winchester back in April and now that rifle has missed it's hunt after being promised it'd be ready. I'm a bit sore, which I can deal with, but I'm also getting a bit worried.

Matt built the stock for my daughter’s 7x57. I’ve been there a bunch. I like Matt. He also worked on my Ruger guns to get them feeding and functioning well. He also worked over my wife’s CZ. Fun to just hang out there and shoot the breeze.

I wrote him a few days ago about a conversion I wanted to do. He’s said he’s covered up and unable to do it. Seems he’s trying to dig himself out of a mountain of work.

Matt got in touch and was very apologetic for the rifle missing the solo Elk hunt (which went great btw). He said he'd work on it this week and get it out the door for a deer hunt in November. It's a bit overkill but 375 should be a fine 'brush buster' that is easier scoped than a lever gun in 45-70 ++P.

Noah,
I might be interested in the 470 Woodleigh Softs if the price is right for the entire lot. Are you planning on going to the Tulsa Gunshow in November? If so, perhaps we could meet up.
