My BBQ guns are a 2nd Generation Colt SAA and a Series 70 Colt 1911. I never carry the SAA because I don’t pass for a cow person.

My wifes necklace she had made in Alaska, and my latest carry knife , they are a bit pricey but Im very happy with mine. my EDC street or mountain. One word of Caution on 1911s, and its been said before ,but they will not fire if the muzzle is pressed into something soft, It takes them out of locked chamber , I tried it on my leather couch.

Well, Sir, I am not planning on letting anyone contemplating doing me harm get that close.

My man jewelry are concealed, but I change "jewels" just because. My external man jewels are a leather bracelet, elephant hair bracelet, a triple strand leather cord bracelet, and my college class ring when not hunting.

Now that I’m up to speed on BBQ guns I’m going to with a pair of Army 1860 Colts stuck in one’s belt cross draw. That should do it!

never played golf. Ever

The only time I ever played golf (mini-putt-putt doesn't count) was against my Brother-in-Law. He was a hot-shot golfer but I managed to score twice as many points as he did.

Never saw a reason to try it again.

My understanding is that the "BBQ Gun" was meant mainly for show at a private social gathering, and some version of revolver seems to be the most popular. Particularly a fancy Single Action Army, although I have also seen some nice Pythons, Smiths, etc.

I've heard of the various auto-loaders referred to as "Court Guns" (e.g., something the well-dressed Bailiff might wear on duty) but given the lack of decorum amongst some sectors of society I suppose it was inevitable that more utilitarian (plastic) firearms are used today.

Frankly it's been a few decades since I've seen any sort of "BBQ Gun" at an actual BBQ. The entire concept seems to have become less common in modern society. Politics, ignorance, and a general lack of civility are likely to blame. And we are poorer for it.
