Im looking for a 7x57 mauser, type B, or anything similar. As well as a good 7x64 sporter.

Let me know if you have anything available.

Would consider other calibers in mauser as well

Pains me to post this, but planning for an Africa hunt and this is a casualty of the budget.

Asking $3800 for the rifle and scope.

Customer Winchester Model 70 in 7x57 Mauser. Rifle was built by Satterlee Arms. Barrel is a K&P 22” - slightly heavier profile. Stock is a Super Grade stock, one piece bottom metal is aluminum.

Scope is a Leupold VX-5 2-10x42 in gloss Talley rings and bases.

Total rifle/scope build is 9lb 13oz which makes it a very easy rifle to shoot!

I'd do a saved search on GB for caliber 7x64. They sell very soft on price on that forum because Americans just don't know what they are. You may find something quite nice. Mannlicher Schoenauers hit the market somewhat regularly and sell for what I consider reasonable money.

What length and contour is that 9.3x62 barrel? Is it a clean barrel? Thanks!
