I was going to get it, but apperently he got offended and upset with the forum and left. He did Pm me saying I could still get it. Honestly with the slight temper tantrum he exhibited, I didnt have a good feelign about it and backed out, He indicated to me he is done here.

What a bummer for you all. Selling and buying an NIB wrapped scope should usually be a straightforward "cut-and-dry" transaction, at leat from my experiences.

Seems some seller confusion or mishaps and snarky comments in other ads caused a train wreck.

Just me personally but I feel posting anything disparaging or shitting in anyone's ad should get you the ban hammer. That may not be a popular opinion but oh well.

If I don't like the price I move on. If I need more details and I'm REALLY interested in it, then a phone call that so many on here like to do can sort that out. If I'm not willing to make the call for that stuff, then I'm probably just window shopping anyway like the ones that made those comments.

I agree, if you haven’t got anything positive to say about an item, don’t say anything. I do think the scammer alerts are helpful though. Some folks don’t recognize the red flags.
