I used a Remington 700 .270 this last hunt and immediately regretted not bringing my 450bm or my 358win.
My preferred pig caliber is a 450bm because it puts them down.

Well looks like I will be trying the 22 mag or 44 blackhalk
This year. My grate nephew in-law has found a wma that’s over run with hogs but it’s shotgun , black powder.handgun only
Or you can take hog in small game season handgun or rimfire.

On smaller ones I don’t have a problem using a 40gr fmj 22 mag for head shots

Here is one of the Special Edition, Rigby 250th Anniversary pigs from a few weeks back.

Texas Heart Shot with the big Rigby as this one broke from long grass at about 8 metres.

@Marrakai took a few ‘Rigby anniversary boars’ along the way with his 1911 delivered .275 London Best HV.

The Rigby is a bit flash for pigs. But you can’t just walk past them with a rifle in hand.Well done.
