Yes,1980 Rhodesia became a Zimbabwe.We were all blessed with the fact hunting most plains game was availble not to far from our main Cities\Towns.Most guys in their teens had at least accounted for 1 or more species.Making biltong\Cured meat being a strong motivator and a chance to brag what a great Bwana you were.My first Rifle was a .22 Brno and was fairly proficient with it.
