Hi all,
I may have some time to burn between meetings in San Antonio this week. Any interesting gun stores (interesting in this case meaning they have a healthy selection of interesting wood stocked Africa caliber rifles) in the area? Its Texas so assuming yes but looking for any competent recommendations. Thanks all!

Durys is nicer , but Nagels has a few nice ones ( a fabulous M70 458wm @ $1500)
& two 375 H&H worth grabbing

My dad and I used to go to Nagels every year and get our hunting licenses. We bought several rifles and shotguns there.

Wasn't there a place called McBrides? Memory is a bit weak....

Four big gun stores (1) Nagel’s (2) Druy’s (3) Ranger (4) Bass Pro. Several smaller ones.

If you can manage to get yourself an invite into the Blaser USA office. You will see, lots of wood and blued metal the complete L&O line up. It does not get anymore interesting.

Dang it. Flight pulling out now. The South TX gun supplies are safe. My chance to find a moderately priced and beautifully wood bedecked. 416 Rigby has come and gone. I'll try again in Nov. Thanks all for the suggestions. I'll keep the list.

Priorities man! Priorities!

Aldebridge guns is on San Pedro st. next to nagels.

And is not better than nagels. They have nice blasers, saurs, pre 64s, sakos all on consignment.

Good Afternoon,
How firm are you on your Dakota 416? I am highly interested but looking at a few different guns currently.

Best,
BJ

What is the minimum you would take.

I have a Chapuis 450-400 double that looks brand new and shoots well, never been hunted from what I can tell. I am willing to part with it as I have a 375 H&H Sodia on it's way from Dorleac & Dorleac. I am looking for $9,250 for it and if you are interested, I am happy to send you some pictures. Regards,
Steve
