In memoriam - Jamie Wilson passes away

Not sure if many know this or not but Jamie Wilson, Luambeze Safaris, passed away recently from a long bout with cancer. I hunted with him on his Niassa block and I know several in here had done so as well. It was a truly wild experience and one of the most fun trips I’ve ever been on with Leopard and Lions everywhere. Prior to hunting in Moz he had hunted for years in Zambia, his home country, and had some great blocks there as well. Either way he was a great guy that fought hard to the end and will be missed. Keep his family in your thoughts/prayers if you will.

Jamie was a tough ph , funny and hard worker.
Our industry will miss him for sure.
Niassa and Mozambique will certainly miss him.
My sincere condolences to his family.

Jamie passed away at 7.30 am wed 15th..Eveline and a good friend were with him. He had fought a big battle with cancer... and the ups and downs he went through and kept going for as long as he did were testament to his strength and the fight in him.....RIP my friend
