Anyone out there that has experience with this process and contact info for an experienced exporter/importer?

I had a rifle that I bought from Ralf Martini and I used my local Gunstore. I believe that if it’s just one or not very many , any FFL holder can import it. Ralf’s wife at the time walked the store owner through the paperwork and I received the rifle with no issues. Ask him or whoever the gun is coming from about doing it through a regular FFL.

I also used Borderview. The cost was $299 plus 5% of the rifle’s declared value plus $51.99 shipping to my FFL. To put that into perspective, my total bill to Borderview was $413.13 on a $1,242.76 rifle. Process took 3 1/2 months from their possession until delivery to my FFL.

Used I Run Guns back in 2018. Was $225 CAD plus the final shipping from their US store in AZ to my FFL.

America used to have a program called, "Fast and the Furious" for taking rifles from America across the border. Perhaps check out ATF for their program "Furious and the fast" for getting rifles into America.;)

I think that was strictly an export operation... :ROFLMAO:
