Does anyone know of a resource to identify a Fajen rifle stock and what rifle it was made for? This is a stock that was left behind as part of my late father's collection, and I'd like to identify what it is for and decide what to do with it. I was able to do that with some Boyd's stocks that he left behind, by contacting their Customer Service; but since Fajen is not around anymore, I'm not sure what to do.

Based upon most of the rifles in his collection; the leading suspects would be Mauser 98, Win. Mod. 70, or Savage 10 actions. I also took some measurements with my calipers, as follows:

- Action screws (center-to-center) = 6.5"
- Magazine box = 3.3"L x 1.08" (Rear width) x 0.93" (Front Width). (looks to me to be for a medium or short action)
- O.A.L. of Bottom Metal = 6.7"
- Barrel Channel = Rear (just in front of receiver) - 1.325" W and Front (at end of fore grip) - 0.980" W

Thanks for any input you all can offer! :)

Just guessing - looks like a Remington 700 LVT stock
That's certainly possible. I also found in his pile of parts a stainless Remington heavy barrel in .308 Win.; and that has me wondering if he was planning to get a Rem 700 action and build a rifle on it.

Im having trouble with identifying mine as well. Bought it awhile ago and never ended up using it so i decided i was going to try and sell it. I believe it goes to a remington 700 bdl in 270 caliber but not 100% sure.
Action screw holes from center to center is 6.5inches
Mag box- 3 1/4x1 1/8(rear)x 1"(front)

Here's the target for the NorthForks - 25yds off a bag, iron sights. Hunting leopards over dogs the range won't be more than that.

Flew in an airshow in Smyrna years ago, beautiful country.

Best regards,

Franco
