I have lots of reloading brass, equipment and bullets I am thinking about getting rid I am in north Carolina. No offense just looking for guidance on how sales work on here. Thanks for having me.

Post a classified with item, description, price, and photos. As a new member I would highly suggest posting one or two lower cost items first and having an established member provide feedback on you from that sale. I will not buy from a new member with zero feedback. I often look at content of posts they’ve made as well to determine if it’s a legitimate hunter or potential scammer as well.

Adding to the information above, include a photo of your sale item with a recent newspaper showing the date of publication. Offer to send your phone number via Dierct Message (DM). I can usually seperate the wheat from the chaf-like scammer in 30 seconds via a phone call.

Many people post a photo with the item and their name and date written on a card. That could be photoshopped by someone with a little skill, or so I am told.

I have even provided a video call (Zoom) of me with expensive items for sale.

The rules:

One other thing: As long as your buyer is well established here and has a good reputation an option is to send them the items and upon arrival they can send payment. I’ve done that multiple times as buyer and seller on various forums until I had a rating/reputation.

I am always amazed when people list something for sale in the classified ads, here on AH, and don't put "FOR SALE" either in the title or at the beginning of the ad. Some listings in the classifieds are wanting to buy. Clearly state what transaction you are attempting!

Good morning. I see that you had a Sauer 202 for sale for $3,000. Did you sell it at that price?
I have one for sale as well. I listed it (on here ) at $3,000 as well. Is the price high, low or right where it should be?

Thanks. Alex. [redacted] in case you want to call me to discuss further. I appreciate your time help and support.

Dave, I could use both of them if still available. I just picked up a new .22 mag and a .22 pump that they would be perfect on.
