Hi from Queensland Aus

No worries, and yes I'm sure it was them. It was at the Bathurst show a couple of months back, fingers crossed its still available for you. It was high $1600's from memory, a good price I thought.

@Oddbore75 congratulations on the .375.

That Schade fella set you straight then,

That's a spacious safe (Deep) , what brand is it.

He certainly did CBH
The lead was good, he had just had a sale fall through on it.

The safe is a Lokaway LCH2 20-30 gun.
There is a divider in there as well to add a row infront, i got it as it has a removeable platform to the right of the bolt safe for rifles with 30"+ barrels.

I made a lighting system for it operated with a motion sensor (all 4x4 lighting items), just need to finish electrifying that side of the garage.

Thanks, I have a couple but one that's not deep enough needs the rifles almost vertical so the door shelf doesn't knock the stocks. Frustrating.

I've met 425Schade and a few others. Pretty good bunch here.

Not deep enough is highly frustrating.
I got to the point with the last that i was top and tailing them.

Well made safe, nice digital lock system keyed back up and very deep.

Not wrong so far they all seem like a good bunch

Hi all,

Long time lurker first time account creator / poster.

Born in Zimbabwe before leaving during the early 00's to Australia.

Collector and owner of some odd cals. and wanting to break into the "african" cartridges.
Joined the page to learn more about the larger cartridges maybe even secure something if a classified pops up in aus. Been chasing a newer /low round count CZ550 safari mag for months in 375 H&H and feel I missed the boat when then fell out of production.

Currently own a Ruger Alaska in .375ruger and a hawkeye african in 416ruger... as well as several odd cartridges (30/40Kragg / 45-120 / 7.5x55swiss to list a few).

Thanks for the read.
Welcome to posting here, hopefully you can come test some of those "African" cartridges on African soil!! Where in QLD do you live? I've been fortunate enough to visit AUS once!

@AjFourie that would be a dream to go and test them on African soil.
Or even to go back to Africa at some stage.

I live north of Brisbane on the Sunshine Coast in QLD.

Welcome. Im recently back from spending 6 months in QLD.

Now that the welcoming has dies down, lets see some gun talk and pictures.

LETS BEGIN WITH YOUR .45-120. I SHOOT A 45-90 THAT DID WELL IN AFRICA AND LIKE SUCH RIFLES.

You are in good company up there. You could reach out to @rule303 and @rdog. Both of them live in that area and are really great blokes. I have met them both. Very knowledgeable and down to earth people.

Bob, putting him onto a .375H&H was a good thing I think.
Anyway's saved him buying it for himself
