Welcome from Spartanburg. This is a great community of hunters. Feel free to ask any questions. There are no dumb questions just questions you don’t ask

I found this site when I was preparing for my first trip to Africa, and what a wonderful resource it has been. Long time hunter, mainly whitetail and wild boar in S.C.. I’ve been on a handful of trips to the western US, but have been bitten by the Africa bug. Everyone on here says that after your first trip you immediately begin planning the second. Truer words have not been spoken. As so it begins…..

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
