After being reading in this wonderfull site for a while y decided to register , I'm a retired medical doctor (anesthesia, I live in Mérida Yuc. , not far from Cancun where I lived for 20 years, I like fishing and hunting, in my area mostly wing shooting and rather small deers, but since last year I'm hunting stray cattle (some over 1500 pounds) and that's the reason I'm so pleased learning from your experience. Thank you

Welcome welcome to the forum! I have hunted Mexico several times and it is amazing. I have mainly hunted near Hermosillo, Sonora but have visited a friend that owns orchards in Veracruz which I believe is a few hours from you. Beautiful part of the world. Enjoy the forum!

I'm hunting stray cattle with 7mm rem mag and Nosler partition 175 gr with amazing good results. It's te bigest bore I had , I just got a 300 HH mag but I still have to develope a charge .
