It looks like I was following a dead link or their website was down over night.

During times of unprecedented uncertainty, the Kowas Adventure Safaris team are concerned about the safety and well-being of our families, colleagues, clients, and the many friends who make up the Kowas vibrant global family.

Our hearts are with those who have been affected personally by the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19) as well as the many communities around the world that are facing extreme measures in the attempt to slow its spread.

For 21 years, Kowas have been honoured by the trust our clients placed in us to make their African safari dreams a reality. In today’s challenging environment, Kowas Adventure Safaris confirm herewith that our commitment to our clients (and potential clients) remains unchanged: we will never remove the WELCOME mat from the front door.

The safety of the Kowas employees was our top priority during the Covid 19 lockdown. We are proud to inform you that none of the Kowas staff were laid off during the Covid 19 pandemic which had a negative economic effect on the trophy hunting industry in Namibia.

The borders of Namibia have opened for the tourism sector. Kowas Adventure Safaris are pleased to confirm herewith that our first international clients since 1 April 2020 have arrived in Namibia for their safari with Kowas. A total of 8x clients would be hosted before the end of the 2020 trophy hunting season. Kowas Adventure Safaris has two different hunting concessions: Kowas Concession and Mahango National Park. Both our areas are fully booked for the last trophy hunting month for the 2020 season.

We thank our Kowas clients sincerely for their loyal support by showing their commitment in being prepared to travel internationally to follow their dream despite of the Covid 19 Protocol and subsequent challenges related to the Covid 19 negative test required (not to be older than 7x days) before entering Namibia. Your loyal support is highly appreciated.

The Namibian Covid 19 protocol requires all visitors to Namibia to only stay at NTB (Namibian Tourism Board) and MoHSS (Ministry of Health and Social Services) approved facilities. Kowas Adventure Safaris are pleased to confirm herewith that both our facilities (Kowas Concession and Mahango National Park) are both NTB and MoHSS approved. Kowas Adventure Safaris furthermore approved our facilities as quarantine facilities for our Kowas clients.

Be reminded that we will be attending the yearly Dallas Safari Club convention which is scheduled for 11 – 14 February 2021, booth number 3104. Ensure to enrol to our Kowas newsletter, Kowas Campfire, to receive the regular update. How could we be of assistance?

What an excellent summary of conditions in Namibia and how the great staff at Kowas is responding to the crisis. Thank you very much for taking the time to post all of this information. Please continue to post any new information as conditions and guidelines in Namibia change with the evolving crisis. I am very happy to hear that you are able to host clients once again and have solid bookings in 2020. As you know, I have had the privilege of hunting with you several times. Karen and I look forward to seeing you in Dallas in February and hunting with you in May, 2021. We are anxious to visit your beautiful lodge again. Best Regards, Steve

So glad you guys are doing well!
