I recently picked up a used Sauer 404 with a Bubba’d safety/decocker. How they screwed it up, I’ll never know, but they did. Anyway, I sent the bolt in for service, and the guys at BlaserUSA fixed it with maybe a week’s turnaround, and they did it for free. In a world of mediocre service, it was a really pleasant surprise.

I had a need for service on a Blaser rifle once as well. Exactly the same experience as yours.

They answered the phone, sent me a form describing the service required. Fixed in a week and shipped it back to me.

No charge and I am not the original owner of the gun. Great customer service.

I called Blaser USA looking for a small part and she said hold one minute...came back quickly and said I found one and I can get this out to you today...no charge. Awesome!

I’d like to share my experience. I had a Sauer 404 that wouldn’t feed 404 Jeffery cartridges correctly. BlaserUSA worked with Gordy and Sons in Houston to get me a 1-for-1 replacement with another Sauer 404, but unfortunately had the same exact problem. After that, I told them I was done with Sauer rifles, and they needed to get me a rifle that was equivalently priced in 404 Jeffery. So they stepped up with a Rigby Big Game in 404 Jeffery, which was a nice surprise to fix the situation. Many thanks to both BlaserUSA and Gordy and Sons for working together to resolve the problem.

BTW, if you live in southern TX and have a chance to stop by Gordy and Sons in Houston, you will need to freeze all your bank accounts because the fine gun selection there is simply unparalleled. Ask to see their vault collection for sale.

I ordered a Sauer 404 through Gordy & Sons.. Just the plain jane entry level one with the grade 2 wood stock. It's to be a hunting gun not a safe queen. After waiting 7+ months for it to come, it arrived with the synthetic stock instead of the wooden stock. E-gads, what BS! A good rifle just has to have at least a decent piece of walnut on it. Anyway, when Gordy told me about the mix up I told them I didn't want the plastic stock and was more than slightly pissed about the long a wait I had for the gun too. Insult to injury. Gordy & Son called Blaser US about it and within a week they had a grade 5 elegance stock on my rifle at no extra charge. Beautiful piece of wood it is.
That's what I call great customer service.

Hello! I saw your post from last year about a missing crate from your hunt in Moz. I am curious how that all turned out? We (my fiancé and I) also hunted in Moz in 2024 and the trophies are being shipped with Hunters Services Limitada. We have some concerns on whether we will get the trophies home or not. May I ask who you hunted with?
