From the largest Cape Buffalo, with ears the size of frying pans, and noses the size of softballs to this small Large Spotted Genet I do all the mounts in the studio. The Genet, Weighing in at 3 lbs and a body length of 18". A nose not nearly half the size of a pencil eraser and eyes not nearly 1/4 of an inch and ears the size of a penny. The Meticulous time is takes to pull off a good mount off a african skin on these takes DAYS.
Tho the cost of material is not near a cape buffalo, almost 1/2 the charged price, This Genet takes as long to mount, and detail and put together as a good quality mount, as a cape buffalo shoulder mount. 2 days and another to finish and build Habitat and scene. Close ups of course, the work here is and can be shown this close.....Sandrats Completed Large Spotted Genet

Wow! Can't believe all the whiskers stayed intact. If you Google genet mount images this is one of the hardest animals to mount and capture a natural look. Thanks Dennis.

I'd hate to be the shop "donor " cat! Ouch..............well done once again.

Can’t wait! Unbelievable work sir!

They didn't we take them out and put them back in, The right side had no whiskers at all , we made new ones and put them in ..You just sent it to the right guy, that doesn't settle for anything but as close to perfection as I can get.
Fantastic work as always!

I just had visions of a large male Siamese house cat looking very dejected with his whiskers all clipped. :sneaky::D

The face on that is fantastic. I am looking forward to my delivery (bring tags) you have the trip too.

That's a good looking pussycat!

this is actually a small spot genet.

great looking mount nonetheless!

These tiny cats are really beautiful! Excellent capture of reality! I must have missed this back in August.
Night critters...you have to love them!

My import paperwork listed this as a large spot genet- it looks too close either way for me to tell. Measurements were 1.5 x 10 x 17.5. It ended up not making through the dip and pack process so I'm in the market for a replacement if anyone has something.

Looks great Dennis. My Genet will get there sometime next year...and 2 civet and an African Wildcat and hopefully a Leopard since I’m back in Zim once again!

It does look alive!

Hi PaulB. Would you be interested in another WJ Jeffery .450/.400 NE 3". It's an extractor model and in superb condition, cased as well. Made in 1908. The rifle is here in Texas.

I will take the knife for $250 shipped. Please tell me how you would like the payment.

Thanks-
