Does ATF include it in their list of collectable guns that can be purchased under a C&R FFL?

I don't know. What info is required to find out ? I recently got about a dozen guns for sale and am considering getting my ffl.

The way sales have gone, there's little incentive to hit it hard. Just trying to supplement SS and measly pension.

I got items I would find palatable should I have to "eat em".

If I can't sell something for less than Cabelas or Sportsmans Warehouse I won't get it.

This particular gun I have only found a reference price of the business who makes them. America Remembers is the name. They want $3,495 for a new one. Can't locate any other.

Thanks, Bob

I sent an e-mail to America Remembers asking if any of their guns are listed by ATF as collectible. America Remembers shows their hours as M-F, so it may be a few days before we get a response.

I believe it's a 29-10 with embellishments. Never saw one before and it's certainly not antique. America Remembers didn't even answer my question asking how many are in circulation.

I got a response from Aaron at America Remembers. He said they have sought acceptance by ATF for inclusion of several of their guns to the C&R category, but to this point, none have been accepted. So they are considered in the same group of firearms one would consider dragging through the woods or carrying as a duty gun. Ah yes, I from the government and I'm here to help you!! I wonder how far it is to the edge.

Then it looks like a "label" of some sort doesn't apply here. It's still engraved with gold inlays (don't know the gold content) and I haven't seen one or one like it at the range, woods or on a hip.

Have you seen one cheaper somewhere ?
I can drop the price same as anyone selling anything. I can't find one for sale other than from America Remembers.
If you come across more information please let me know. Thanks for your interest.

Hallo Marius- do you have possibilities for stags in September during the roar? Where are your hunting areas in Romania?

Love your rifle! I'm needing a heavier rifle for Africa. Sold my .375 Dakota Safari several trips ago. Would you have any interest in a trade of some sort involving the custom 338/06 I have listed here on the site ( I have some room on my asking price. I also have a large quantity of the reloading components and new Redding dies as well as a box of A-Square Dead Tough ammo.
