For Sale Ruger RSM 458 Lott w/ upgrades

This is a tough one to sell, but I have multiples in 458 Lott. Cycles very smooth and shoots accurately. The open sights shoulder perfectly and are spot on to point of impact. This rifle shoots surprisingly soft with the recoil pad and mercury reducer. Comes with red dot mount. Willing to sell vortex venom red dot and/or Alaska Arms QD mounts 30mm (the best QD mounts IMO) at additional cost.

Rifle is in good condition with one small depression/scratch area on left side below bolt release (pictured). The 2 forward most screws have some tooling marks, one of these attaches the fore-stock to the barrel, the other just screws into the factory recoil device. The brass pillar on the forward-most screw is slightly sunk into the stock, this occurred prior to the bedding job and the gun is SOLID. Nothing is able to move with the bedding job. See bedding picture.

Lovely rifle. Great package. Fortunately (or unfortunately) I already have a RSM Lott. But I am curious about the red dot and mostly the mount. I want to put a red dot on my rifle and wondered what mount you are using.

@Paul K thank you for the interest. The bedding was done by AHR and is well done. There are not many gunsmiths willing to bed these rifles anymore because of the time consumption. Unfortunately it is my understanding AHR is no longer taking on any smithing work.

Beautiful work on your Ruger! I had one twenty years ago in a 30/06 I took to Africa. I probably should have never sold it, the RSI International I have in 6.5x55 doesn’t really hold a candle to these rifles.
