The shorter barrel also makes it balance very well. And feels more lively in the hands. 2380 fps should do anything you would ever need from a 416.

Toby has gone to the dark side with the Blasers. Heck fire, maybe I am on the dark side and he is in the light. I don’t know and am a little scared to find out.
2380 fps with any 400 grain bullet in the .416 range is definitely going to get the job done if it is on target.
This controlled round feed Winchester has a McMillan stock with a stainless barrel fitted by SSK. This is definitely worth more than asking price in my estimation .
I already have a Dakota 416 Rigby I bought used and am having a 404 Jeffery built. I also have brass and dies for the Rem. mag setting around.
If I thought for a moment I needed a third rifle in this power level this would be mine. Recoil is theoretically in the 404 Jeffery range with Rigby penetration.
