Any of you guys from out of Atlanta on the straight flight in September? Is the flight always full? I don't like to fly at all. Daugher and I headed over in 2019 in September. Hoping it's not as busy that time of year.

Assuming your talking about Delta 200/201, I've flown it in April and October. Its usually pretty full, not capacity but pretty full.

Yea that's the flight. Was hoping that a little latter in the year would make a difference.

Sometimes you get lucky and have a few seats around you vacant where you can stretch out a bit!

I flew Delta out of Atlanta last year in Sept. and every seat was full, same thing on the way back home.

I came in on DL200 on Saturday, landing Sunday in JNB. There were a few open seats.
I've used the same flight quite a few times and I cannot say which time of the year there are more or less open seats. If you need more space I suggest Business Class, although more expensive it may be worth the $ for you.

Good luck!

I wish I could pull the funds for business. We just got home from NZ last month. 4 zanax sp? And 3 prescription sleep pills. Was wide awake the hole 15 hours down. We had our 5 kids with us. It was not a fun flight. Youngest is 1.5 and he did the best. I am 6'5" tall and hate planes. If they had big bridges I would drive. Not scared of crashing. Just always feel like crap the hole flight. Even use the ear patch. Still get sick. Really sucks.

Well I would suggest, if funds allow premium economy on BA, wide seats, lots of legs room, business class food. It's longer but nicer. Or try Emirates some times their business class is cheap and their couch class normally is the cheapest, with better service and nicer planes.

These airlines have it figured out.... not only full, but overbooked. Insert dude that got his ass beat on united. The way it goes sadly. These routes are very good for the airlines. They are [emoji817]

It's usually pretty full in my experience. Sometimes you will have the fortune of an empty seat next to you but don't count on it. Sorry but it is miserable at times flying that far!

Miserable flight but it's heaven when you get there and your so exhausted from the adrenaline dump on the way home you don't care.

Holy crap..... 4 xanax & 3 sleeping pills?!?!? And you still didn't sleep?!?! That would have killed the average human.

I was going for just under death. Like a coma. I have done the NZ flight 4 times before while living down there. I have had that flight feel like 15 mins before. But this time it was way way way different.

Good morning,
Did you hunt w Leeuwkop at their ranch or in Zimbabwe? The ranch looks awesome, but I'll be in Zimbabwe for buffalo and whatever else we dig up.
What did you hunt for?
Vaccines?
What rifle did you use?
I feel like I need a good cotton safari shirt and an ammo belt to make the hunt feel right!
How often did you shoot prior to going?
Did you use sticks for shooting practice?
