I have shot trophy bonded bear claw in my 375 and loved them, so I was looking at the federal premium trophy bonded tip for my 300 win mag for future plainsgame. Has anyone used this bullet? If so any likes or dislikes?

I've harvested 25 PG animals with the same bullet 200 grains and have no complaints. Used them on stag in NZ couple weeks ago with satisfactory success. I recommend. I'm a bird hunter and not a rifleman and don't spend time reloading rifle cartridges and they have performed well 'off the shelf'.

I plan on using these next trip to Namibia...Just read tonight Federal has a new bullet,,Edge TLR,,....It looks similar to TBT xcept for tip and 1 groove instead of 3..Anxious to see which would be better for plains game ? Also comes in 200 gr for 300 Win..

I have had no issues with Federal Ammunition. If your 300 shoots it well go for it!

It's a great bullet, excellent for hunting!

It will do just fine!

I think the rifle liked them good enough!

I dunno... shoots them high and to the right.., ;)

As others have said, it's a good bullet, and your rifle likes them. I'd hunt with confidence.

My rifle loves the nosler 180 gr accubonds for deer, antelope etc. but they seem to lose too much weight initially to hunt any bigger game with.

This bullet is barrier blind, accurate, and a very solid performer in the LE arena.

What my concern is, and maybe you guys (you might be the BEST guys to answer this...) can help me with something...does that nickel plated jacket foul the bore? If so, how does it (or does it not...) clean up? I looked at my solvents, and nothing that is EVER going in my rifle bore will dissolve nickel...

You guys shoot big bullets very fast, so if anyone will see a fouling issue, it's you .300WM types. I am curious as to round-counts with this projectile, and observations of the bore that you may have.

I used 200 grain trophy bonded bear claws in my 300 WM in South Africa. Performed flawlessly. From 25 yards on an Impala to [this is per my PH] 400 meters on a Cape Kudu. Killed Warthogs, Zebra, Blue Wildebeest, Gemsbok and other assorted game. If it wasn't a one shot kill it was my fault. Overtime I hit it right it went down on the spot. Use them with confidence.

Tight group.... now just a few clicks left & down.... aces!!!

Use what your rifle likes and remember shot placement is always the key.

Hello,

I saw your post selling left hand rifles. Do you have any additional pics of the .416 Rem mag?

Thank you.
