That is correct.
Because the insert barrels normally go into the right barrel. And hunters prefere a set trigger even for the small Kugel.
When i refere to a shotgun barrel on a drilling, i intensionally mean the non insert barrel.
In this Bockdrilling for example or in a conventional drilling the left barrel (rear trigger)
Quick update. Had a chance to get out today for a quick range trip. It’s only a 25 yard target but shows promise. Determined the gun has an automatic safety. Also, the KL position selects for the .22LR barrel - that should be ease to remember. First two shots were with the long rifle barrel. The third the 5.6, and the fourth a Brenneke slug. I aimed at the second target since I didn’t know where the slug would land. All shots were aimed with the scope. I’m encouraged! I should be able to find loads that work at the appropriate distance with each barrel and could always use the irons with the scope in place for the slug and .22LR.
