Oh, I know. It was a joke for those on here who believe my affinity for leather wrapped pads on rifles is gauche.

I am a huge Weatherby fan and have several Mark V Deluxe rifles with beautiful wood. However, I've never been a fan of the Crown Customs, but I'm not going to criticize someone for owning one. I like beauty in a wood stock, but I also want functionality. Gorgeous rifle, but I wouldn't own it.

I have heard that golf is the only sport where a white man can dress like a black man and feel right at home...maybe there is now a corollary in gun making?
Just yanking your chain! lol. If you are into the Winslow rifle niche, that is the ultimate. Nice wood BTW

All I say is WOW, with several meanings of that!

Ferlach makers will go as "over the top" as you pay them/instruct them to do.

Well, I am thinking even a light load's recoil might cause the diamonds to pop-out of the ram's head.

What is the minimum you would take.

I have a Chapuis 450-400 double that looks brand new and shoots well, never been hunted from what I can tell. I am willing to part with it as I have a 375 H&H Sodia on it's way from Dorleac & Dorleac. I am looking for $9,250 for it and if you are interested, I am happy to send you some pictures. Regards,
Steve
