I’d say any elephant is a trophy. This is a great chance for someone to get their first elephant or someone that can’t afford a big tusker.Very Misleading title. 15 pounds to 22 pounds is a Trophy? Most wouldn't consider a 40lb a Trophy?
Well, if one wants ivory for knife handles, firearm grips etc., etc. then this is a great deal. Not to mention all the usable skin panels. These sound more like culling elephant rather than trophy elephant. 15-22lb barely sticks off the lip 30 inches, right?
Let’s not loose perception by calling things by different names.
Is a great deal, but I’d not a trophy hunt.
Canada already banned ivory importation last year. With the real chance ANY elephant hunt could be outlawed this is a chance for those of us with limited funds, aging out of this type of endeavor to experience an elephant hunt. I for one am busting butt and money numbers to make this happen.
Please enjoy your hunting experiences but don’t knock someone’s else’s endeavors.
Should push for it to become the 51st state.Canada already banned ivory importation last year.
So when I eventually return to Africa for an ele it'll be management hunts. Unfortunately
The like is not that Canada outlawed ivory imports, sorry if misunderstood. It just validates my and your point to do it now versus later. Again sorry if I offended anyone.Canada already banned ivory importation last year.
