I am so unsure of the whole situation I am looking at SCI. In my mid-50s I just have no energy for drama or shit communication. Drama and Shit Communication are what I am seeing so I am just moving on.

Or if you’re just passing through DFW at some arbitrary time, there are a number of us on the north end of town that link up for lunches or coffee, etc from time to time…

I have yet to receive a ballot. Like @Green Chile, I have received multiple emails about hunts, auctions, upcoming events, etc. Mama and I have been Life Members for 16 years. We joined and became Life Members of a completely different organization. I don't recognize the $hit show that is calling itself DSC now, and have not recognized them for a few years. They just keep getting worse and worse. DEI and Lead Free Ambassador candidate?? Heck, in the name of DEI, let's get some PETA and Brady United people on the board as well so we have all the bases covered for the new regime of clowns.

My question is in all seriousness as much as all of us respect you why are you not on the board? You would be awesome for this! The same for @Philip Glass but he is already so involved for all of us in SCI (Thanks!!!!!)

I can only do so much! SCI is consuming much of my time especially today. We have our San Angelo Chapter Banquet tonight.

I got my election email/link today. The options were much like US politics. We have to cast our votes against someone (that we dislike the most) rather than for someone (that we support). As DSC grew, their disorganization and disconnection from the sponsors and members grew as well. Why do they use contractors/3rd Party links and Apps for most everything now? Housing, Auctions, Voting....? Reminds me of when my former company demanded all Business Units switch to a contractor phone center in India for everything from customer service and complaints to travel claims. Then they were stunned and confused when customers started cancelling in droves.

I would never have joined DSC many years ago if it had been in its current state. Sometimes everything is darkest before it goes pitch black.
