Downsizing to Matched Rifles...is it worth it?

I tried this and failed. Sold 25 rifles, 30 handguns and 3 shotguns.

Bought two Joe Smithson GMA98 custom synthetic stocked beauties in 300 win mag and 375 H&H.

Bought three Berretta Jubilees. 12g, 20g and 28g with matching custom stocks. All with 29.5 inch tubes.

Bought two 1911 Wilson Combat super grades in 9mm and 45acp.

6 years later …… four full gun safes

Futile exercise!
Oh well, at least you tried.

Surely its been fun having new toys to play with along the way.

I'm allergic to the whole idea of downsizing my rifle collection. Makes my skin crawl. Sure...you can hunt the world with just 2 or 3 rifles. I suppose it's also possible to eat soup with a wrench. But why?

Good morning. I see that you had a Sauer 202 for sale for $3,000. Did you sell it at that price?
I have one for sale as well. I listed it (on here ) at $3,000 as well. Is the price high, low or right where it should be?

Thanks. Alex. [redacted] in case you want to call me to discuss further. I appreciate your time help and support.

Dave, I could use both of them if still available. I just picked up a new .22 mag and a .22 pump that they would be perfect on.
