Does anybody have experience hunting with the .450 bushmaster in Africa?

Good pig caliber....forget about it for Africa.....

That's considerably less case than a 458 WM, which is the starting line of African DG hunting. Then, the unsuitable bullet availability (too low M, SD, V, ME.) Likely fun for hogs using ARs in choppers! lol I believe it has a small cult fanbase in places like OH where only straightwall centerfires are legal (for deer.) It's as if a corporate committee was assembled, and they sat around the table...."how can we get something with a big number (.450) into the hands of people that desire something with a big number, but make it profitable for us?" Introducing: The .452-30-30! In mfg., it's ALL about using LESS today! And, from the factories I tour for work, it's also ALL about using less Americans in the workforce. DEI's only documented attribute is that it slows down Natural Selection. LOL

I realize how hard the bug has bit. I’m on the cusp of safari #2 and I’m looking to plan #3 with my 11 year old a year from now while looking at my work schedule for overtime and computing the math of how many shifts are needed….
