Custom Winchester Model 70 7x57 Mauser

Pains me to post this, but planning for an Africa hunt and this is a casualty of the budget.

Asking $3800 for the rifle and scope.

Customer Winchester Model 70 in 7x57 Mauser. Rifle was built by Satterlee Arms. Barrel is a K&P 22” - slightly heavier profile. Stock is a Super Grade stock, one piece bottom metal is aluminum.

Scope is a Leupold VX-5 2-10x42 in gloss Talley rings and bases.

Total rifle/scope build is 9lb 13oz which makes it a very easy rifle to shoot!

Quite well - have found some great loads with 154gr Interlocks and 143 gr Hammer bullets.

Always intended to work up a load with 175gr partitions but never found time to get after it. Would have also loved to try 160gr Swift A Frames, but finding A Frames is quite the challenge lately!
