Looking for a cow buffalo hunt out of a tented camp. Prefer South Africa for the convenience as this is more of a dry run for a bull buffalo hunt, but open to any ideas. Suggestions?

Sure! I’ve hunted with Derian Koekemoer Safaris twice. He has a wonderful tented camp for those that want a little more rustic and natural ambiance in addition to villa rooms and lodge accommodations. Since it’s adjacent to the Greater Kruger and near Big 5 reserves you’ll hear lions roaring nightly and may even encounter leopard, hyena and wild dogs if you’re lucky. This is in Limpopo SA near Hoedspruit and Kruger National Park.

He offers cow buffalo hunts (I did a hunt report) in addition to management and trophy bull. In addition he offers plains game, hippo, crocodile and hyena. He also hunts the Greater Kruger too. There are several recent hunt reports from AH members who had a great time and were very satisfied.
