Started the process today and will update you all once all is set up... The process may take a little longer and be a little more complex than originally anticipated as Apple now requests for sites to run in HTTPS as per Apple App Transport Security requirements.

OK got the taptalk app. Maybe I don't like to be "pushed" but here I am on the regular site. I was all for the new mobile functionality too! but it is funny how I trust this site and feel uncomfortable with taptalk....sorry Jerome, I truly appreciate the efforts. I will keep trying this new fangled thingy. maybe the Luddite in me is just too strong. one new thing a lifetime!
 
OK, I want to absolutely praise this new app! The AH app is very fast and intuitive. Also, it displays the pictures better than the regular website on my Android phone. I don't know it's relationship to the tapatalk app, but it certainly functions better from my perspective! Great job!

I also downloaded it the other day, haven't played around with it much, but it certainly works and yes I agree with Pheroze, the pics seem to display better than just the net on my phone
 
Thanks guys, working through tapatalk at the moment but AH app is not quite ready and will be available for download only in December. We have had a couple of delays but it is coming. :) Any and all feedback is always much appreciated. (y)

Just now working on switching the site to https so some of you may experience some issues which are being worked on right now... If in a couple of hours from now you find some errors while browsing AH please do share them in this thread so that we may resolve them. Thank you all!

Now waiting for the approval from iOS and Android. I will let everyone know once the AH app is available for download.
 
Hi everyone, AH app is finally out and available for download for both iOS and Android! I've been using it and it is really nice and easy. It will be a great addition to our community and I think it will help us reach more hunters. Please make sure to download it and rate it as it will help to promote the app to other hunters. Feel free to share with your friends.

As you may have noticed some of the sections in the forum have been reorganized to better optimize the browsing experience for the AH app. I apologize as we are still refining a few things to improve the integration of the site and the app. I know that change is not always easy when you are used to things the way they are, but in the long run necessary to continue to make AH the best that it can be.

Is this separate from the tapatalk version that was already out? I didn't see anything else available, at least for Android.

You can certainly access AH through tapatalk but AH has it's own app which runs essentially through the tapatalk platform. Just search for AfricaHunting app in iOS or Android app store to download it.

I got confused then. What's new?

Somehow I thought there was a new and separate app from the one that came out a separate weeks ago. Oops.
 
Yes it is a new and separate app which is called AfricaHunting.
 
Yeah, had it downloaded. Using it now to see the changes. [emoji16]
