Clearing rifle case in Johannesburg for same day connector flight to Botswana

Im planning a June trip to Bots via Delta ATL JNB GAB. I have always spent night at Jberg airport and picked up rifle case at SAPS office and rechecked it with intra Africa flight next day. If I book a contiguous ticket with Delta via Jberg for same day connection to GAB will my rifle case automatically get delivered to Air Botswana for my same day flight connection to Gabarone?
