CHAD: Western Greater Kudu & Red Fronted Gazelle Club Faune & ACN

What a fantastic report. I really enjoyed the read. Exotic travel like this is so alluring. Well done on a bunch of fantastic trophies!

Congratulations on some great and unique trophies. I never expected to see a hunt report from Chad on AH!
The game numbers appear very good from your report. Did you discuss with them what they do for anti-poaching in area? I can’t imagine the challenges a place like Chad presents trying to manage a hunting area.
Thank you @375Fox poaching is a problem and they do what they can with limited resources. You can imagine how tight their budget must be conducting only six Safaris per year. The game department is very small so they don't give them any help. The Zakouma National Park is about 150 Km's East and it is managed by African Parks (APN) and there is a buffer reserve next to the hunting area but seems their anti poaching are focused on the park.

You take the most interesting hunts. Places many of us dream of, but will never be able to go to. Congrats on some fine and rare trophies. I always enjoy your writing style. Thanks for taking the time to share with us. Nice pictures too.
Bruce
Thanks Bruce, it is my pleasure to share my Safaris with everyone here as most seem to appreciate it.

Wow, what an amazing adventure. Thank you for taking us along, like others have said, I felt like I was in the blind with you guys. That Warthog is a stud, congrats.
Thank you @PARA45 that Warthog was a real bonus as I didn't even have that on my list for this trip.

I can only imagine how beautiful your trophy room must be. (y)(y)

Actually, I should be breaking ground on it this month. I shot my first big game animal 45 years ago then took my first Safari 37 years ago. INow am finally going to have everything in one place! It will be on my hunting ranch in South Texas, that way I can share it with like minded people.

Congrats for a fantastic experience, and some great trophies, I am definitely very jealous for that warthog :A Wink:

Thanks for sharing all of it with us :D Cheers:

Absolutely wonderful report, I thoroughly enjoyed it Sir!!

Really enjoyed reading your hunting report. Quite the adventure. Appreciate you sharing it with us. Congrats on some great animals.

Thanks for sharing about your safari. I have never really heard or seen much about hunting in Chad except for seeing it on Jim Shockey, once. I think I am going to need to add Chad to my list of African countries to go and see.

Thank you for sharing your experience. You picked a unusual safari destination and in reading your report you were able to get the best adventure.

I remember someone posting the progress of their trophy room here, and it was great to follow the progress. Hint, hint, maybe you can keep us entertained with the progress of your trophy room.:ROFLMAO:

Sir, I will gladly take that 16 gauge off your hands. I was waiting for your Winchesters but I'm a sucker for a 16 ga.

I bought a great deal of the brass he had for sale, plus I already had many hundred rounds.

How much brass are you looking for?
