Hi members
I have possible three cape mountain zebra stallions I would like to remove in 2018 thru hunting.
Cities has moved them down from the list because their numbers are getting nice and strong.... are there any change in the states (U.S) regarding hunters to bring them into the states? I know before forestry and fisheries did not allow them to be imported. Is it still the same or did they also change their regulations?

Down listing with CITES, sadly, does not correspond with anything to do with the USFWS.

South Africa’s proposal to CITES Cop17 to down list the Cape mountain zebra (Equus zebra zebra) – from Appendix I to Appendix II was agreed yesterday by the Parties.

I have not heard of any miracles from the USFWS yet.

But I know that Canada actually follows the CITES agreements which means as soon as it is published we can apply for an importation permit. :A Banana:

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.

Hi EGS

I read your thread with interest. Would you mind sending me that PDF? May I put it on my website?
