Anyone have any ideas on how to build a cheap tripod shooting stick??

Would really appreciate all your tips and hints. :D

Thanks in advance,

Oli

Here's the knot you need (see attached pdf file)

I bought some 19mm dowl but three old broom handles will do if its for practice.

For hunting some of the commercial variations appear good. Google is your friend.

Great topic. I have a bunch of ash dowel rods and connectors. I may throw a couple of these together.
Thanks

Excellent! I just printed it. I have been wondering about this lately, now i will do it.

Africans use two or three bamboo sticks of the same length..tie the together with cut strips of innertube, use a lot of innertube at he tie spot...They are excellent and as good as any commercial product...adjust them by spreading them out..

Customize them by burning (Magnifying glass) the names of the animals you have shot off them,on each leg.....
and ad a stripe for every animal after the first....

eg. Kudu: I I I I
