Buffalo Cow Export

Hello all,
Please forgive my ignorance and I apologize if this has been discussed before on the forum (I couldn’t find it), but I was wondering why I have seen that some cows are non-exportable? The price on some of the cow hunts I have seen look quite enticing but if I can’t have the mount it becomes less so. I am going on my first trip next year so this isn’t an issue for some time, but I still am curious. Thank you everyone in advance!

Buff cow shouldn't be an issue. The only issue is that some airlines won't transport any of the big 5 and a couple other animals. but your taxidermist and export/import agent will take care of that.

Not specifically for cow, but in general for buffalo: I have seen on some offers so called "own use" buffalo hunt in community areas.
Those were not exportable.

Generally, buffalo is the only one of big 5 that is not on any Cites list and not under any international restrictions. in that case shipping the trophy is just a matter of finding a shipping company specializing in trophies, and it is routinely done.

That makes a lot more sense. I couldn’t wrap my head around how it was an issue, and as it turns out it isn’t and I must have misunderstood. Thank you much I appreciate the info!
