Adding a Vanguard to sell $103 shipped
This knife was a Cabela’s edition it is only sharpened on one side of the blade. I believe Buck called it Ion Fusion. It is stamped with a FB (factory blem)I believe it is because the factory gold plating didn’t hold. I don’t know if it’s been used or not the edge seems like factory and is sharp. Overall it is a nice knife and in good condition.

Vanguard package deal
$165 shipped for both knives.
The top Vanguard is a rubber handled edition. It’s in great shape

The bottom Vanguard was a Cabela’s edition it is only sharpened on one side of the blade(chisel edge). I believe Buck called it Ion Fusion. It is stamped with a FB (factory blem)I believe it is because the factory Ion Fusion gold plating didn’t hold. I don’t know if it’s been used or not the edge seems like factory and it is sharp, but the brass has small nicks/dents on it. Overall it is a nice knife and in good condition.you could convert it to a double edge or send it to Buck’s spa treatment and have them do it.
I only have the one sheath to go along with the two knives. Buck does sell the nylon and leather on their web page. All knives are still available too

Vanguard’s are off the market for now. I’m having the bottom knife blade cerakoted vortex brown and already sharpened both sides of the blade. Ordered an aftermarket kydex sheath for the rubber handled knife. And I might have the blade cerakoted midnight blue. I’m gonna wait and see how the other turns out. Will definitely post before and after pictures.

I thought the Buck 124 Frontiersman was a "new" model. But searches on the internet showed the 124 made by Buck in their original El Cajon, CA shop from the '80s. And at exorbitant prices. Interesting. GLWS

Yes it’s been around for quite awhile. And I have to say what doesn’t have exorbitant prices anymore.

I will be looking for a set of these when my .505 is done... sadly not cashed up right now for these. :(
Need anything in trade?
Cheers,

what kind of velocity does the 140 grains list, curious how they would fit in with my current 130 gr, supply of 270s. maybe a pic of the box data listing vel. and drop. Oh and complements on that ammo belt, nice.
