I bought this from an older gentleman that took it elk hunting a few times. He was selling his firearms because his heath wasn’t the best. He took very good care of all his guns. A beautiful rifle that doesn’t grow on trees these days. I’m thinking $1700 plus shipping. If you’re looking for a classic bolt to down a buff this is hard to beat.

Maybe I'm naive (well okay, we've had that discussion over on the double gun vs bolt thread) but what's with the ultra high scope rings? Isn't it hard to find the crosshairs and wouldn't it lead to putting the gun too low on the shoulder? I know the tacticool crowd goes for those on their black guns and maybe it makes sense for the games they play, but I don't understand it for an African gun. Perhaps the old fella had a whopper scope on it but for a 375? Wait, OP said the guy planned to hunt elk with it. The modern way to hunt elk seems to be to shoot into the next zip code so maybe he did put a telescope on it. I presume "A.A.L." from Philidelphia was the custom builder since BRNO are/were made in Czech land. Anyone know who he/they are/were? Just curious.

Lovely gun and seems to be a good price.

Edit: A.A.L. was undoubtedly the former owner who ordered the gun from BRNO. So I am naive after all.

AAL would be the importer. Foreign rifles have to be marked by the importer.

I'd like a bag of 100. I could actually pick it up since I'm in North Irving, but if you prefer, shipping it is fine.
