I'm going to be heading back to the UK to do some deer hunting with my friends in the UK.
I want to bring my own firearm this time and not have to borrow one.
My friend knows how to get from the UK to here with a firearm but not the other way around.
What do I need to have filled out or filed and with whom?

I’ve done it a couple of times but my buddy is with Holland & Holland and they handled the permits.

Very straightforward your uk friends can get the visitors import paperwork via their local police force online. Cost around £20

Thats cool!
Thanks for the info guys.

As above, your friend applies for a visitor permit. Very straight forward and painless.

What is the minimum you would take.

I have a Chapuis 450-400 double that looks brand new and shoots well, never been hunted from what I can tell. I am willing to part with it as I have a 375 H&H Sodia on it's way from Dorleac & Dorleac. I am looking for $9,250 for it and if you are interested, I am happy to send you some pictures. Regards,
Steve
