Beware Of Wolfgang Schenk Taxidermy, Germany

Why was it not fleshed and turned out properly in the field??

I can only imagine the carnage if capes where sent from field in Africa in that condition even to the local taxidermist...disaster waiting to happen

Everything that I have always read about getting a good cape to the taxidermist begins in the field with proper handling. I have a few friends who have gone to Alaska for muskox hunts and they have had zero problems.

While there after everyone had shot their animals I recall the 2 guys from Spain insisted on expedited shipping, if I recall correctly the guide told them it could be done but would add a few thosand dollars to the cost since They would need to hire someone to deliver it to the Vet in the capital to clear it then get it on a plane to either Austria or Germany. He stated that was what he wanted. I never spoke to him why but now I know

Good Afternoon,
How firm are you on your Dakota 416? I am highly interested but looking at a few different guns currently.

Best,
BJ

What is the minimum you would take.

I have a Chapuis 450-400 double that looks brand new and shoots well, never been hunted from what I can tell. I am willing to part with it as I have a 375 H&H Sodia on it's way from Dorleac & Dorleac. I am looking for $9,250 for it and if you are interested, I am happy to send you some pictures. Regards,
Steve
