Best Ballistic Software for Apple Macbook?

I use Hornady app on my phone. Simple interface and looks clean. I am sure the Lapua etc work as well. Hornady has their own loads built in so it is easy to pick a similar bullet and tweak the velocity to get ballpark figures. You need to go to the range anyway to confirm but at least it gets you on paper.

I use the Revic and Hornaday apps on my Iphone.

I have Strelok Pro (free version IIRC), and Shooter Ballistics for $10, by Shawn Kenny (sp). Both are Android versions, but available for Apple. Much prefer Shooter Ballistics as it's really easy ( after learning curve), to add rifles, various loads to each, etc.

Shooter is on both my phone and tablet - two downloads are permitted with purchase. I can back-up data or work from either.

I am really old school.
I have a note book with come ups and a chart in my lens caps on my rifles.
Biggest hurdle for most shooters is accurate ranging and reading the wind.
A kestrel works well if you have the time to use it. A shooting school is your best investment, really good range finder and the ability to read or measure wind.
Turkey I got a couple days ago. 348 yards, prone. 223 rem. 68 grain Hornady match 2700fps mv.
Hit in the neck just above the body.
Not very sporting on the turkey hunting spectrum but couldn’t help my self.

Shooter-Ballistics for a good basic program. One license runs on two of your devices. $10.00
I've used the Android version for about 15 years. I can link to the local (and nearby) airport for density altitude and temperature. Or I can get slightly better environmentals by blue-toothing to my basic Kestrel. It generally gets me to within about 0.1 or 0.2 mils (.25 to .5 MOA) elevation adjustment on our longest steel (785 yards).

Or you can just estimate the DA and temperature and be reasonably close.

Or you could buy one of the higher end Kestrels with two or three choices of software built-in for probably about $800, but check first to see how user friendly it is.

If you are a PRS shooter, you will want something more powerful than Shooter, but for a hunter or Very serious plinker, Shooter Ballistics works very well. (Shawn Kenney (sp) is the author.)

I’ve seen that same level of technical excellence and smooth data integration while using the services from https://www.cogniteq.com/mobile-app-development as I was truly impressed by their incredibly stable architecture and how intuitively they handle complex, real-time calculations.
Hi,
I am currently looking for a precise ballistic solution myself and i am wondering if the software allows for easy profile syncing between the two licensed devices when switching between a phone and a tablet in the field? Thanks.

@Hegmast
They recently updated software so unsure on this, but there was no actual "syncing" before for Android.

I'm Android, and could backup all profiles in phone and then download to update my tablet (or vice-versa). I "think" Apple systems auto sync, but unsure.

Hey Steve, This is Steve Washington we met at KMG last year. I am interested in your Winchester. Would love to speak with you about it. I work third shift and I cannot take a phone with me to work. Let me know a good time to call during one of your mornings. My phone is [redacted]. Live in Florida so I have to account for the time difference.
Look forward to hearing from you.

Good day, Slider.

Do you by any chance have any 500NE brass left that you are willing to part ways with?

Best regards,
Boela Bekker.
