Besides collecting Ruger #1s.....

Will ask a friend on the Rugers

It kills me. I want to like whiskey so bad but I just can’t do it. All whiskey, bourbon, and scotch makes me violently ill at just the smell. The only thing I can do is Crown and coke but even then it’s gotta be pretty weak. My dad is a big whiskey guy. He’s known for his affection toward Gentleman Jack. I’ve tried soooo many times to acquire a taste but alas, it still makes me nauseous.
You're better off. That stuff can sneek up on you. I like beer a lot better. Margarita now and then

What a fine collection! I can’t seem to collect anything! Well, maybe bad marriages!:ROFLMAO::LOL::eek:

I started a collection of some Single Malts about 40 years ago. still have most of them unopened. Guess I'm not much of a drinker. Do they age in the bottle?

My friend says no date yet on the Ruger #1 but says it is supposed to be a 300 H&H

I hope they put a long enough barrel on it! They’ve gone too short on many of the new guns IMO.

My drinks are Unicum and Canadian Club Reserve but a friend served a bourbon I liked because it wasn't too sweet -- Bib and Tucker.

My favourite is Rum, Bundaberg The Aussie stuff.
They started a distillers selection a while back the wider bottles at top. They went well for them and they continued to bring a new one every 3-6 months or so at $80-$100 , That got old quick , and expensive so I pulled up.
Some of these are quite old showing the changes in labelling over time, my rifle collection is only affordable factory rifles that are scoped to suit intended purpose. Just a small functional collection of used rifles examples of respective types like Safari rifle .375H&H Varmint rifle .22-259, Spotlighting Rifle .223, Hunting rifle .308, Bunny Rifle etc, and a Tikka CTR for regular use 7mm-08, 10 shot 2” barrel used from car or ok to carry. Americans might call it a truck rifle if they used Tikka, I call her “Ugly Betty “ as i Carry her in the car not caring to mark the ugly plastic stock and find the shortish stock and 20” medium profile Barrel is ideal and seems right for quick shots. I do get precious about losing those shell as they are slightly dearer than the more common cartridge ones.
I could resize some .308 or maybe upsize those useless bloody .243 shell Bob Nelson hates but I prefer to have correct head stamp so my family can be sure what is what, better safe than sorry!
