If my 416 ruger sells I will really regret selling this action. Les was a well known gunsmith in the Kalispell MT area in the 70’s 80’s and into the 90’s . He started building these action and then had them made in Korea. Eventually a company in Oregon got the tooling at the end of its life. This Action-is one made in Korea. It is in raw metal and could use some cleaning up. Magnum bolt face but could be opened up to except 416 Rigby. Decent bottom metal and a nice clean bolt release that is not big and clunky like most Mauser actions. Trigger is great and bolt is nice and tight but cycles very smooth. I had a cz 416 Rigby ( that I sold a long time ago and very much regret) that was very “gritty” feeling when cycling the bolt. This action has none of that feeling. One of the dovetails is a little sharp and could use some cleaning up. There Have Been some stunning rifles built on these Bauska actions. I saw one in person the other day in 416 Rigby that was amazing.

Congratulations to both buyer and seller.
They are very fine actions. I have few manum rifles built on them.

Hey Odinsraven. Is that post from Jefferry 404 legitimate? I don't know him. Thanks!

I have no idea the shipping cost from here to Costa Rica. I can do my research on shipping and get back with you later today.

I didn't see your request re: ship co’s. My last shipment was 2023. Quotes from SBS Logistics ($1,198), Badger Cargo ($1,184 - used them) & AHG Trophy Shippers ($1,746). AHG owner's an asshole so wouldn't have used him anyway. Eastern Cape - Houston, TX, so your mileage may vary. NEVER use Karl Human Taxidermy aka Wild Africa Taxidermy on Eastern Cape. Trophies arrived shattered with no padding/packing material.
