Would mature into this as an adult Crimson Rosella.

Nope. Turned into a real prince.

A beautiful bird sir!

Can these birds be tamed?

I think the bird is beautiful in both stages of life. Nature is funny, even some of the ugliest animals on earth hold beauty in their own ways. A moose is a great example, not the prettiest by any means but certainly magestic and spectacular. On the other end of the spectrum is a camel. Certainly not a pretty animal but in its native habitat there is something very beautiful about them.

I have several bird feeders in my back yard. Love to see the variety of birds come in..

Incredible birds you have down there.

Thanks for sharing.

My wife loves this thread ...keep them pictures coming !
Thanks Glen

Tamed? Well they will feed from your hand if you persist in 'training' them.
I will try and find some old pics from another property.

oops P/bucket is not working again.

Lots of vibrant colors on those birds, thanks for sharing

You can teach these birds tricks and teach them to talk. Was in the pet business for 50 years. Australia has some to the best birds for pets.

What a treat. We are happy with cardinals and blue Jay's the are beautiful.
