ARE IMPORTABLE TUSKLESS HUNTS AVAILABLE?

The ban specifically lists elephant and rhino ivory. But not any other parts of the animals.

I believe it should be fine under cities permit. But as I'm also looking at a hunt, I want to ask who imported my cape buffalo a few years back to make sure it's legal and paperwork isn't an issue.

I'd probably get replicas made, and ivory stored potentially. But for how few sport hunters in Africa even our conservatives would listen too. It's a tall uphill battle to get the ban rescinded.
Does anyone happen to know what the situation is for Canada. My understanding is that ivory cannot be imported under any circumstances but would you be allowed to import the hide and skull an exportable trophy bull or is no part of the elephant permissible?

@Moody808 and @MarkB

I just received emailed back from our Gov. and they confirmed. Aslong as appropriate cities permit ALL other parts of elephant can be imported into Canada.

It is only the ivory banned.

That's better than nothing, really appreciate you digging into that and coming up with the answer.

That's what I did on first so good news for a return again. The replica tusks have come along way in realism.

Glad that dumb Steven was forced out of Gov, too bad rest would not also be gone.

Hi Dr. Ray, I will be in Cooktown from Oct 16 to Oct 23 fishing Lizard Island Black Marlin Tournament.

I have several "slack" days after fishing before I head for stay in Sydney and Fiji.

Do you have any recommendations for 1 or 2 day hunt near Cooktown?

I've hunted both DG and PG in 4 different countries in Africa.
Thank you,
Bob

Good morning. I see that you had a Sauer 202 for sale for $3,000. Did you sell it at that price?
I have one for sale as well. I listed it (on here ) at $3,000 as well. Is the price high, low or right where it should be?

Thanks. Alex. [redacted] in case you want to call me to discuss further. I appreciate your time help and support.

Dave, I could use both of them if still available. I just picked up a new .22 mag and a .22 pump that they would be perfect on.
