Anyone using AI for hunting?

Just in using google search, it generally provides a google AI answer first. What I have noticed with that is that it can give you a completely different answer based on how you phrase your question. It also frequently gives wrong answers, but gives them in a way that seems legit and plausible a lot of times.

Let's say, hypothetically, you wanted to find out if it is legal to hunt wolves during deer season in a certain state or country. If you look up, "Is it legal to hunt....." vs. "Is it illegal to hunt....." you can get two completely different answers. Almost any difference in phrasing makes it possible to get a completely different answer sometimes.

My trail cams show me a list of times and weather for when animals are moving. Not sure if that counts but the feature of using the program to shift through all the pictures and just show the animals I’m interested in is fun.

Exceptionally accurate at scoring whitetail bucks. I plan to run game cam pictures as well as pictures I take from the stands thru ai engines to score and record bucks at my properties in Kansas.

I also run offshore fishing pictures thru ai. Exceptionally accurate in approximating weights for GTs.

What AI have you been using to score deer?

I know some apps came out for that a while ago and it seemed like everyone complained they weren't accurate. I have never tried them and I am guessing AI wasn't nearly as advanced when those came out.

I have used Google Gemini and ChatGPT - it helps having a reference like a rifle in the picture.

So I tell the chat prompt - there is a k95 Blaser rifle in the picture along with the dee. It’s should be able to go get reference for k95 rifle (length ect) and use it a data point for measuring the deer.

I have not yet run game can pictures thru it.

I am pretty sure the algo can age deer - take a picture and ask how old the buck is.

I read Ray Bradbury when I was young. I will never trust AI to make decisions about anything for me. It is not a slippery slope. It is a Teflon slide. Yes I am a fudd.

My wife was freaked out today by AI. She called Benihana to make a reservation. A "young lady" named Alicia told her she didn't know anything about a special lunch offer and would get her to someone who would help. When she told the real person what Alicia said, the real person replied, "yeah that's just our AI automated representative." She really thought she was talking to a real person.

My entire office is using AI every day. I can't imagine we will have jobs in 3 years let alone 10.

Of course I use AI.

I have used it to find incredible details in every aspect of the hunting world.

There really isn't any limits.

Sometimes it will give you a half ass answer.

But that is because it regularly uses things like Reddit and forums to get information. I use Genesis and Grok. Work pays for the upgraded Genesis and I pay for Grok.

Grok helped me design a rifle action that I dumped into CAD cam.

Very interesting. I uploaded a couple of the areas I'm familiar with, and got feedback also.
It seems to me that these bots or whatever they're called, are monitoring any online forums, and copying the popular responses and conversations.

I wouldn't put much faith in it for the public land that I usually hunt- but if someone was really new to hunting, I can see where this could help them get started.

I received 2 AI robo calls today; Medicare scammers; 1 from Dave or David and another was a female voice both sounded like humans and both learned some new words and phrases and in context how to use those new words and phrases.

Now I wait for it...... MSM and/or social media idiots to start broadcasting AI's boss and coworkers various abuses.
