Angola???

excellent comments. There is still lots of great habitat that would be glorious to hunt so potential is definitely there. The road to Saurimo in Lunda Sul is excellent with virtually no development on either side for 400kms just one or two spots with a few small shops and fuel. Looks ideal for plains game and DG.
cheers

If they set aside enough acres of suitable habitat, reintroduce the native game (if necessary) and protect the shit out of it, Angola will again be a viable safari option…..and the people will reap the benefits of safari-hunters dollars. They’re not facing any challenges that Mozambique hasn’t already solved.

I think that this is as sketchy as South Sudan!
Considering there are a couple of outfitters looking at offering safaris there you might be right.

Hi Dr. Ray, I will be in Cooktown from Oct 16 to Oct 23 fishing Lizard Island Black Marlin Tournament.

I have several "slack" days after fishing before I head for stay in Sydney and Fiji.

Do you have any recommendations for 1 or 2 day hunt near Cooktown?

I've hunted both DG and PG in 4 different countries in Africa.
Thank you,
Bob

Good morning. I see that you had a Sauer 202 for sale for $3,000. Did you sell it at that price?
I have one for sale as well. I listed it (on here ) at $3,000 as well. Is the price high, low or right where it should be?

Thanks. Alex. [redacted] in case you want to call me to discuss further. I appreciate your time help and support.
