Howdy Folks, and welcome to the @Bob Nelson 35Whelen Fair of Texas!

After seeing the thread for a meet up with Bob, @Mark Biggerstaff and others on the 18th, and was disappointed I could not attend that far away. So instead of missing out, I found out his plane is landing at DFW on the afternoon of Oct 17 and talked to him about doing a local Happy Hour before he heads south.

I'm looking at setting up a get together for anyone who can make it on Friday Oct 17 at Old Texas Brewing Co. in Burleson from about 3-5pm. I may arrive as early as 2:30 pm just in case Bob & the Mrs. get through customs and car rental quickly. Staying longer is up to the group, but I figure 5ish wrap up will allow Bob to get on the road before it gets too late and make his end destination for the day.

Everyone will be responsible for your own tabs.

Reply below if you think you can make it and I'll call ahead to make sure they've got room for us.

@steve white

I will be in Montana hunting birds by then. But I will be with you all in spirit if not in person. My spirit with its 30-06 Springfield 03A3 and 357 Smith Highway Patrolman should get a pass from the bouncer. If it can handle Canadian beer, I'm sure it can stand up to any of the watered down panther piss brewed in Texas. :D

Sounds like a good round up. Beer and Bull$hit all round.

I hope Y’all enjoy Bobs company and tips on growing Tomatoes. That is Tom-are-Toe, not Tom-8-to.

I will sink a couple of cans to celebrate the AH meeting.

You will be a day behind and I will be travelling. So on the 17th, 18th or 19th I will have a drink for you, maybe both days.

Don’t let him lead you astray and I hope you get a good turnout.

@CBH Australia
Chris America is that far behind Australia we will get there before we leave.
We leave Australia at 1.30pm Friday and get to Dallas 12.30 lunch time the same day.

What's crazy is, you'll fly east where the time is getting later before magically losing a full 24 hours as you cross an imaginary line.
@Tbity
No so my son
Australian planes fly really really fast, so we get there quicker.
American planes are very very slow so it takes longer to get home.
Australia is an advanced society.

The best standing desk of 2025 An issue which can be found with some standing desks is that they might be a bit wobbly, particularly when extended to higher levels With a clean design and functionality as simple as it gets, FEZIBO height adjustable desk; fits right into the flow of any office, home, or dorm room.
