A Tribute To One Of Our Own, Golam Habib Dulal

Any chance someone could post a photo of the book?

Thanks to everyone who has ordered. The books are now closed and I will proceed with the bulk order. I will probably get just a few extra copies for any late-comers.

All comms with those who have ordered will be via email from this point forward.

Thanks again.

Thank you everybody for your kind appreciation. You are the perfect admirers of a most imperfect human being such as myself. I am genuinely touched by this heartfelt post.

I assure you all. I'm nothing special...
With all due respect, I disagree. There aren't a lot of people still around who can say that they (legally) hunted in India before it was banned in 1972, and there are only a handful of those people who have a presence online. People like you are a treasure-trove of knowledge, and it's extremely important that such knowledge is preserved.

The experience of people like you not only provides us with fascinating insight into what hunting was like in that part of the World, but it can also provide us with information that can be applied to some of the current challenges that we face (e.g. techniques used by animal liberationists to turn the public against hunting). Major Khan's old thread "How (I Personally Believe) The Future of Hunting Can Be Saved" is a great example of this.

But @J.Ogilvie

I never hunted in India. Only Bangladesh & Pakistan (and both countries fortunately still permit legal hunting).

Has anyone received their copies of the book?

If you mean from this second bulk order...not yet. The books have been printed and were shipped from Bangladesh on Dec. 9. It usually takes a month to reach Idaho.

Incidentally, I did add five more copies of the book to the order beyond those already spoken for. If you (or anyone else watching here - US addresses only) would like one of them, send me your information via PM and I can add you to the list.

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
