The late Bruce Moulds was a lover of the 9.3x64 and regularly sung it praises. Projectiles and powder are reasonable in price like anything over 30 cal BUY holy shit Batman those case at expensive @ $260+ / hundred. Well out of my price ..

Used guns has them advertised, Bob made a mistake with the price, there $340 per hundred delivery any were in Australia. Graeme Spraggan told me he has 1000 cases. These are new RWS cases. Most RWS cases ever the tiny 5.6 x50 are $400 per hundred. Contact no 0427319589

can't help tinkering with my 9.3x62. The missus got me a Norma reloading manual for my birthday, and I just ordered the Woodleigh today to go along with the Swift manual I got about a month ago.

Oryx 325 gr looks like an interesting load - same mass and ~velocity as Hornady FTX for my 45-70, but with a much higher SD and BC. Might have to give that one a go on the feral hogs around here. I expect about the same thing out of the Woodleigh 320 gr RN.

I've got some load data from Ramshot for the Woodleigh at 2375 fps. I doubt that, but 2250 would certainly be nice.

There's a really long thread at 24hrcampfire on 9.3x62 reloading. A lot of those guys are completely sold on Big Game for 9.3x62, they go together like peanut butter and jelly.

I have used big game in two different 9.3x62 rifles. Both rifles easily hit 2500 FPS with 286 grain bullets with no pressure signs. One is a 98 Mauser, the other is a sauer 100xt. I also got the loads from 24 hour campfire.

I am out of Big Game, but I do have almost 9# of Alliant 2000MR. I get about 2420 or so with a sub max load for Hornady 286 SPRP. I'm going to start experimenting with 2000MR and Oryx 285s. 2000MR is really close to Norma 203B

I get 2430 fps with Norma 203B using A frames, Hydro's and Oryx. Dont see the need for more speed.

For those with access to European powders, RS60 pushes 285gr Oryx quite well with moderate pressures in my 9.3x74R

I'll be happy with MOA accuracy and 2350 fps out of the Oryx

My son uses 61.0g of 2000MR behind 250 TTSX at 3.35"oal with his CZ550 (23.6"barrel). He gets around 2550 fps. I use 62.2g CFE223, 250 TTSX at 3.291"oal with a Blaser R8 (22" barrel). I get around 2530 fps +/-. I think 2000MR, CFE223 & Big Game are all fairly similar.

Knowing this...., I feel better now when thinking about buying a second 9,3x64.
